I feel you, saengie.
Moms are not easy to convince when it comes to Kpop especially if she's not a fan. But if you need something to say to your mom, then I can help you.
Tell her that Kpop is not gay. Definitely not. Why? Like you said, it's just fan service. And in Korea's tradition, they don't see skinship between guys as a gay thing. Being gay isn't really an issue in Korea. When they see guys getting too close, they see friendship and brotherhood.
If your mom's issue is some body movements or expressions of our dear oppas, tell her they are not gay. Like how they use aegyo, or wearing clothes that are weird for other cultures, they are not being gay. They are being true to themselves.
Being a true man doesn't require being too manly. Someone doesn't need to be all tough just to be considered as "not gay". So what if they wear pink? So what if they crossdress? They crossdress for the fun of it. It doesn't necessarily mean that they want to be girls.
How would we, Filipinos, feel if natives from other countries say we're foolish because we always laugh our problems out? It's true, right? Filipinos are always happy because it's part of our culture. Wouldn't we get hurt if others say, "Look at the Filipinos, just sitting and laughing at their problems as if it would make them disappear. How stupid."?
Try explaining that to your mom. I've been reserving that idea just in case my own mom babbles about that certain issue. :)
