First of all, I don't think you should tell him that you're not fond of seeing him with other girls because, like you said, you aren't officially dating. Plus, it is totally normal for someone to be closer to people of his opposite sex.

What I think you should do is observe how he treats you in comparison with his other female friends. Does he treat you in a more special way? Or are you one of the friends? I'm not trying to put you down, but it is always better to be sure because assuming can lead to an even greater problem.

Don't give up. Giving up is never an option in life. You may be confused right now, but that's why I'm asking you to confirm his feelings yourself. If you have the will and courage, you can ask him directly. If not, ask him through actions. You can see it in his texts or gestures towards you and the other girls. If you see only the same things, then I think it's better not to assume that you really have a "thing".

However, like I said, don't give up. Because you might see something now, but boys can hide their feelings way better than girls can.
